Week 1

What is AI, really?

Kids discover AI isn't magic: it learns from data, spots patterns, and follows instructions people design.

Week 2

Understanding AI & data

Kids look at how AI learns from data and spots patterns, and why the data it's given shapes what it can do.

Week 3

AI as a co-creator

Kids start using AI as a creative partner to brainstorm ideas, improve their work, and make things together.

Week 4

Building your first prototype

Kids put it into practice and build a first working version of their project idea.

Week 5

AI & fairness

Kids learn to check AI for accuracy and fairness, and think about who it represents and who it might leave out.

Week 6

Polish & present

They refine their project, check it for accuracy and fairness, and present how AI helped them build it.

Outcomes

What your child will be able to do

Explain in their own words how AI uses data, patterns, and prompts.

Build animations and simple games with Scratch.

Write clear prompts and predict how AI will respond.

Break a problem into step-by-step instructions.

Read and tweak some basic Python.

Spot when AI might be wrong or unfair, and check its work.
